Hi. *GLOMP* Yippee, I haven't used that word in a long time. I trust all of you are doing okay? Yes, I do still read my f-list periodically when I happen to be on the computer.
So. I really don't know why the hell I'm posting on something so old. Maybe just to get a feel for what it was like again. And, you can't ever forget any of your friends. You have to wonder how life is treating them.
For old times sake, I'll just jump in and write about something I've done lately. I can't keep making 'OMG HI GUYS!!!' posts. You'll kill me.
I went to see The Incredibles last night at 10:00 P.M. It was good. School=boo. Election results=boo. Poor USA. *pets*
Bye for now, then.

Oh, look, it's a computer. I was in town so I'd thought I'd read my f-list. Hi, bitches. Thanks for making me nostalgic again.
I miss some of you very, very much and if I had it my way, I'd go one (or two?) summers back, when we PKers chatted all day and night about useless stuff. Like politics. WTF.
Bye.

Hi.
Yes, this does mean I am leaving fandom. Sort of. But you know, I've lost most interest in being active in the HP Fandom; I've lost interest in most things period. On top of that, things are getting busier than I want them to be, and I don't want to deal with certain "fandom obligations". It's supposed to be a hobby, right?
The point is that I don't really care as much and don't feel like updating this livejournal either, since the basis of it was to rant on and on about Harry Potter. To be quite frank, my life is boring and I seem to never get around to writing my day to day happenings to a journal that no one really reads anymore.
Furthermore, my computer sucks dick and I don't feel like spending more time on the sorry excuse for a machine than necessary, i.e. to talk briefly on IM with my friends or to write papers. Maybe I'll get my interest back someday. But for right now I'm going to focus on my impending future, the one that's not happening while sitting in the computer chair typing away at livejournal and other various web forums, however fun that may be.
Not that any of this should be a big surprise, I've been gone for the past few months anyway. In fact, I haven't really been active for a year, so whatever, you're all used to it and probably feel like you barely know me anymore.
(And for God's sake, don't take this as a ' OMG I AM LIK LEEVIN 4EVA WEEP WEEP TINGS WILL NEVA B TEH SAM AGANE CUM ON SAY U WILL MISSA ME LIK NO OTHA N WE CAN HAV A HOLE PITEE PARTEE GIGGLECRY!' sort of note. Just letting you know what's going on in my life right now, since this is, coincidentally, a livejournal. And please, like you could ever get rid of me.)
Have a good day, guys, will talk to you whenever. :-)

Hail my great haiku-ing powers.
Yea, and in other scary news:
“MyFriendsSNThatIWon'tDiscloseObviously” signed off at 6:31:20 PM. Me: YOU ARe (Then, I expect to get message saying something about how the message was not relayed to her because she had signed off. It doesn't come.) Friend: i love you Me: aren't u gone Me: ? Me: signed off?? Friend: NOPE! Me: HOW Friend: MUAHAHAHAHHA Me: OMG SCARY
And then she started mooing at me and so I never found out how.
The point is, how does one accomplish this feat on AIM?

1. It takes you 7 tries to log in, 'cuz you can't really remember the password.
2. You have the same lame-ass icon from Christmas.
3. You don't have a layout.
You know you've been a bad hp fandomer when...
1. You haven't updated any of your fics for god-knows-how-long.
2. And consequently, fear that perhaps this might be due to permanent writer's block, otherwise known as having no talent.
3. You don't know where all your fandom friends are. They don't know where you are, either. You're kind of floating around in fandom space.
4. You visit somewhere like PK or FA, where you used to live, and don't know what the hell is going on.
You know you've been a bad hp fandomer lj bum when...
5. You look through past lj posts and reminisce.
Remember PK chat? Lively place, wasn't it.
Alright, I'm shamed. I've deserted my duties.
But summer approaches--so what's another few weeks, right? Then I can get my fandom groove on.
AH! NOSTALGIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!OOONNNEEEEEEEE

Protect the sanctity of marriage? (Hard to, in a world of reality TV weddings and, uh, Britney Spears)
How about protect the right of marriage? To give the right of marriage to any two people in love, regardless of race or gender?
The concept isn't all that hard to understand, really. Such bigotry must be ended.
All who agree raise your hands and say 'I'.

Saw Secret Window. It was a strange movie. But I guess I liked it overall. My friend was making comments about it throughout the whole thing--the part where Mort lays down in his bed, she goes, " HEY! He's actually sleeping in his bed!!!!!!" And, and the part where the UPS girl goes, " Gee, you really look pale today..." and he replies, " Hey, thanks." Ahaha. It was....different from the usual thing you see, so I guess that's good.
Oh, and Johnny Depp was brilliant in it. It's funny how most of my guy friends detest him.

*sigh*
He's so cool. I mean firstly, he was nice enough to offer me free guitar lessons after school. Then, he actually comes prepared with a bunch of chord charts and what-not and does a great job of teaching, and then he plays Behind Blue Eyes wonderfully. *dies*
He has to be the funniest, nicest guy EVER. I don't know many guys who would give up their precious time to teach a stupid girl like me some guitar. It's funny how he's gone to my school for all these years and its the first time I've really taken the chance to talk to him. Well, I know I'll talk to him more now.

Big night for Return of the King, eh? Well deserved, though.
The Oscars were predictable, as usual, with minimal surprises. Wow, did Bill Murray looked pissed when he lost. *rolls eyes*

We were (my lit. circle group) going to start filming our trailer for Something Wicked This Way Comes today...but that didn't quite work out so we are starting tomorrow. The thing is, we are going to film the scene where Miss Foley gets lost in the Mirror Mazes. I have a few full length mirrors that I could bring in, but certainly not enough to really form a mirror maze. My question is...how would you best create the illusion of a room full of mirrors in an open space with limited lighting (for it is outside and will be a little dark)? Is there a special thing we can do on imovie or...a special way to film it..? Ugh. This is going to be harder than I thought, since I am probably going to want this to be as close to perfect as we can make it.
I had a good day today.

First:
Return of the King: 11 Oscar nominations. WOO HOO!!! Dominating!!! And if the trends continue, RotK will win every category it has been nominated for! Finally the kind of attention it fully deserves at an awards show!
(Sadly, no acting nominations, but that's okay because--)
Johnny Depp got in for Best Frickin Actor. This is so unbelievable, because yea, Critic's choice sure, People's choice, why not--heck Golden Globes are believable too.
But Oscars are held to be so prestigious it's amazing that the AMPAA actually decided such an odd and out of the ordinary role like Jack should be nominated along with other greats like Sean Penn, Jude Law, Bill Murray and Ben Kingsley. This is amazing also because I remember when there was a time over the summer, when I thought to myself, " Hmm, it'd be nice if he got an Oscar nom." But also thought that such a thing would never in a million years happen. But it did. And I am now ecstatic.
Pirates also received four other nominations.
In other words, this is a very, very happy day indeed.

WHOO HOO!!!!! Go PJ and crew for winning Best Motion Picture: Drama, Best Original Score, Best Original Song and Best Director!!!!! Although, too bad Johnny Depp did not win. Was Bill Murray that good?.
And what's this? No school tomorrow? Sí. There is too much snow here in Ohio.

Note: The following is what one could consider an anti-bush post. If this bothers you, tough luck, and don't read it. Skip on to something happier.

Watch the would-be commercials. Contribute to making them actual ads on TV, if you wish. They are quite good. Then they appear on TV, and America will be enlightened (or at least reminded of the horrible things Dubya is doing.)
And now, I leave you with a Stupid Bush Quote™ :
"I know what I believe. I will continue to articulate what I believe and what I believe — I believe what I believe is right." —Rome, July 22, 2001
" A results-oriented administration...will make America what we want it to be--A literate country and a hopefuller country."--Washington, D.C., Jan. 11, 2001

The guy I think I might have a humongous crush on got punched in the face today. This, needless to say, offended me. At least it was honorable of him not to fight back, you know? But still, I find it ridiculous that some guy would pay smells-like-shit-kid a dollar to go punch a nice guy like him in the face. Bitches.
Oh, yea, and my Chocolat disc keeps skipping. It makes me wonder why a brand new disc just taken out of its case would have a billion scratch marks on it.
And why do I keep getting weird messages in different languages on my cell phone?
BUT--It is all justified, this mysteriousness and this unfairness BECAUSE I don't have school tomorrow NOR on Monday.
Wah ha ha. Loopy.

Big Fish.
Anyone who hasn't seen it, must go see it now. Tim Burton is a movie-making God. Of course, we all knew this, but this just further proves his talent. Wow, it's just such a fairy tale. Beautiful. The abstract originality was very refreshing. Through all the tall tales told you believe them in this strange way because you can relate with the emotions behind them. It was sad and funny and heartwarming all at once. And yea, some of the scenes reminded me of Edward Scissorhands in some uncanny way. *shrugs*
The last thirty minutes are especially the most breath-taking. It's a movie meant for bigger things. Ha-ha.
Best movie of the year, from what I've seen so far. Yes, I'd even go so far to say that it's better than Lord of the Rings. Just a teeny weeny bit, though. *dodges tomatoes and other assorted items*

USA Today Person of the Year. Who made the list?
Hey--Harry Potter and Johnny Depp made the list (but what list hasn't Johnny Depp made this year, is what I'd like to know...2003...the year of Depp). What more could I ask for?
EDIT: And what of PJ and crew getting EW's Entertainer of the Year? Can you think of anyone more deserving?
I have to go see RotK again.
